	Chinese porcelain snuff bottle with the image of Laojun, ca 1870. Laojun is also called Lao Tsu. He was the author of the Dao De Jing, the principal document describing the concepts of Daoism. This bottle uses cobalt blue and copper under the glaze to create the painting on the surface.
