Dainichi Nyorai

This is an Edo period painting of Dainichi Nyorai. He is seated on a lotus throne and pedestal. He is shown in the Chi-ken-In mudra or the ‘knowledge fist’. This is the mudra which destroys all ignorance. The painting was done in heavy pigments and brush and ink.

大日如来。江户（1615 – 1868）。设色绢本立轴。质优重裱。Chi-ken-in （知识拳）是摧毁所有无明的手印。
