Nocturne Island

Russell Lowrey (b. 1949) was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He received his early education at Punahou School and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Denver in 1973. Since then, Lowrey has created numerous paintings that feature the natural beauty of Hawaiian landscapes, seascapes, and still life. His artistic style is defined by soft hues, which allow him to create serene and evocative depictions of tropical scenery.
