Henry Otto Wix

Henry Otto Wix (1866–1922), also known as Otto Wix, was a German-born painter celebrated for his landscapes, portraits, and figure studies. After emigrating to the United States, he studied in New York before traveling to Hawaii, where he eventually settled in San Francisco. His works often feature scenes from diverse locations, including Hawaii, California, Germany, and beyond. His paintings are held in public collections, including the Honolulu Museum of Art and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
