Abe Shunpo

Abe Shunpo (1877–1956) was a Japanese painter from Fukuoka Prefecture. He honed his skills in the traditional kacho-ga (bird-and-flower) painting style, studying under two esteemed masters: Fukada Chokujo and Kikuchi Hobun. Shunpo’s works are known for their serene depictions of nature, characterized by harmonious compositions that capture its inherent beauty.
