Takeuchi Seiho(1864-1942).2 herons standing in water under a willow in the moonlight. This is a Nihonga style painting done about 1910. It has the atmospheric character that was favored at that time. It also has some of the characteristics of lacquer ware paintings on inro and suzuribacko.
