This marvelous painting of a snowy scene on bluffs over a body of water also shows several figures crossing the body of water on a bridge of some kind which is amply covered with snow. The rocks and foliage of the area show the white form overall, yet the trees along the bluffs and mountains are in that spikey black form of naked trees in the landscape of winter.
