Combining structural tension and poetic lightness, this bamboo flower basket captures the essence of Japanese aesthetics. Kajiwara began his training under Kounsai Iwao in 1952 and established his own studio in 1962. He has received numerous awards at major exhibitions, including the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and the Western Japan Craft Exhibition. In 1996, one of his works was presented to French President Jacques Chirac at the Lyon Summit.
